Since Jarama 2006, the Pescarolo Sport team has not won a single race. In the Algarve, for the first visit of Le Mans Series in Portugal, Henri Pescarolo and his men returned to success, thanks in particular to a masterful Jean-Christophe Boullion.
Bouillon and Tinseau are ahead of Lola Aston Martin n°007 and the two Oreca, that of Tiago Monteiro and Bruno Senna in front Nicolas lapierre and Olivier Panis.
In LMP2, Olivier Pla and Miguel Amaral won. Easy victory for Julien Jousse, Patrice Goueslard and Yann Clairay in LMGT1. However, it was more complicated for the Ferrari de Rob Bell et Gianmaria Bruni en LMGT2. Ils devancent de cinq secondes seulement la Porsche IMSA Performance by Patrick Pilet and Raymond Narac.
