The world championship of rallycross (World RX) will set sail for the first time in its young history in the United States on September 29 and 30, 2018 at the Austin circuit (Texas). This will be the second round of the calendar located in North America, in addition to a meeting in Canada. This announcement came when Ford and its star driver Ken Block have decided to leave the competition at the end of the year.
The circuit will be located in the stadium part, between turns 12 and 15 of the track Formula 1 and will emerge from the ground in the coming months. The full schedule will be revealed during the day on Tuesday by the championship promoter IMG.
