World RX – Bakkerud wins Q2

Andreas Bakkerud (Ford Focus) won Q2 of the World RX in Hell (Norway) ahead of Mattias Ekström (Audi S1) and Petter Solberg (Volkswagen Polo). Kevin Eriksson (Ford Fiesta) and Timmy Hansen (Peugeot 208) completed the top five ahead of Toomas Heikkinen (Audi Q1). Sebastian Loeb (Peugeot 208) finished 7th ahead of Ken Block (Ford Focus) and Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo). Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Peugeot 208) took 13th place while his compatriot Guerlain Chicherit (Renault Clio) finished 17th.

Mattias Ekström remains in the lead after the first two qualifying heats, ahead of Andreas Bakkerud and Petter Solberg. Johan Kristoffersson and Sébastien Loeb complete the top five ahead of Timmy Hansen. Ken Block is 10th. Jean-Baptiste Dubourg can still hope to be in the semi-final by ranking 13th. Guerlain Chicherit is 16th.
