World RX – Bakkerud on his way

Already winner in Q1, Andreas Bakkerud confirmed his good start to the event at home in Hell in Norway by also dominating the second qualifying round. The Norwegian driver from Hoonigan Racing placed his Ford Focus RS RX at the top of the order ahead of Timur Timerzyanov (World RX Team Austria – Ford Fiesta) and Sébastien Loeb (Team Peugeot -Hansen – Peugeot 208 RX).

The Frenchman precedes his teammate Timmy Hansen, while Janis Baumanis (World RX Team Austria – Ford Fiesta) and Petter Solberg (PS RX – Citroën DS3) climb into the top 6. Twelfth in Q2, Davy Jeanney (Peugeot Hansen Academy – Peugeot 208 RX) finished the first day in 11th place.

In Euro RX, Kevin Hansen performed flawlessly and is ahead of Tommy Rustad and Tamas Pal-Kiss. Jérôme Grosset-Janin is placed at the gates of the top 3.
