Johan Kristoffersson (VW Team Sweden – Volkswagen Polo) dominated the first qualifying round of the Italian Franciacorta event in the World Championship Rallycross. He is ahead of Petter Solberg (SD RX – Citroën DS3) and Timur Timerzyanov (Olsbergs MSE – Ford Fiesta).
Very good performance from Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Albatec Racing – Peugeot 208) 5th overall, and second in Euro RX behind Tommy Rustad. Davy Jeanney (Team Peugeot-Hansen – Peugeot 208) finished 12th in this first round and climbed to 9th place in the provisional intermediate ranking for the World RX portion of this event.
