Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot 208) achieved the fifth fastest time in the first qualifying round of the World RX in Montalgre (Portugal) held on a very muddy track. Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo) set the best time, ahead of Mattias Ekström (Audi S1), Toomas Heikkinen (Audi S1) and Andreas Bakkerud (Ford Focus).
Timmy Hansen (Peugeot 208) set the eighth fastest time while Petter Solberg (DS 3) was 11th. Davy Jeanney (Peugeot 208) is in 15th place. Ken Block (Ford Focus) is second to last.
