Mattias Ekström (Audi S1) won the last qualifying round of the World RX in Montalegre (Portugal) by winning ahead of Petter Solberg (DS 3) and Andreas Bakkerud (Ford Focus), while Robin Larsson (Audi A1) and Davy Jeanney (Peugeot 208) completed the top five. Sebastian Loeb (Peugeot) finished in ninth position. Ken Block (Focus) placed 18th.
Mattias Ekström finished first in the qualifying heats, ahead of Petter Solberg (DS 3) and Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo). Andreas Bakkerud and Robin Larsson complete the top five. Sébastien Loeb is seventh behind Toomas Heikkinen (Audi S1). Davy Jeanney ranks tenth. Ken Block did not qualify by failing in 18th position.
