At the end of the qualifying heats for the semi-finals, it was the outgoing World Champion Petter Solberg (SDRX – Citroën DS3) who took the lead in the standings ahead of Timmy Hansen (Team Peugeot -Hansen – Peugeot 208) and Andreas Bakkerud (Olsbergs MSE – Ford Fiesta).
Frenchman Davy Jeanney (Team Peugeot-Hansen – Peugeot 208) ranks 8th and will advance to the semi-finals.
