Paolo Barilla receives a Porsche 911 GT3 in tribute to his victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1985

For his 60th birthday, the former winner of the 24h of Le Mans en 1985 au volant de la Porsche 956, a dévoilé, en collaboration avec Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur et dans le cadre d’un projet « Voiture de rêve », une Porsche 911 GT3 aux couleurs de son ancienne voiture victorieuse de la plus célèbre épreuve d’endurance. Principalement jaune, on y retrouve une touche de noir à l’arrière et de blanc à l’avant du modèle. Le numéro 7 que portait le pilote italien en 1985 y figure également sur la portière. Pour rappel, Paolo Barilla avait gagné l’épreuve avec Klaus Ludwig et John Winter, pour l’écurie New Man-Joest Racing.

Paolo Barilla was rather proud when unveiling his model. “In the 80s, I had the chance to drive the wonderful Porsche 956, an iconic car in terms of performance and beauty. The interpretation of certain elements in a modern GT3 makes this memory exciting and vital for me and the people close to me. »
