Prema is in pole position to win the European title Le Mans after three victories in the first four races of the season. The Italian team could even be titled this weekend at Spa-Francorchamps, scene of the fifth and penultimate round of this 2022 financial year.

However, no one wants to declare victory too quickly within the team and the final moments of Free Practice 2 this Saturday morning demonstrated that nothing was yet set in stone. On a track made slippery by the Ardennes drizzle which has been falling on the circuit since this morning, Juan Manuel Correa actually made a mistake in the very last moments of the session. The young American, who is starting in prototype this weekend in place of Lorenzo Colombo, damaged the No. 9 Oreca.

The entire Prema stand is busy putting the LM P2 back into shape before qualifying, at 15:09 p.m. for this category. The team, however, assured us that the car should be ready in time to compete in the session.
