Christian Klien achieved the best time in the tests of theELMS au Red Bull Ring in Spielberg (Austria) with a lap completed in 1'24"145 at the wheel of the Morgan-Judd fielded by Newblood by Morand Racing. The gaps remain very tight with Race Performance's Oreca 03-Judd since Franck Mailleux lost by only eight thousandths. The Thiriet by TDS Racing Ligier JSP2 driven by Thiriet-Badey-Gommendy follows just 64 thousandths behind.
Andrea Bertolini remains the fastest in GTE with a time of 1'29"746 achieved at the wheel of his Ferrari n°72 of SMP Racing. The Russian team also dominated the GTC category with Kirill Ladygin setting a time of 1'31"655 in the No. 71.
