Jim Glickenhaus had a new fad these days. The American manufacturer had in fact announced that it was putting an SCG 007 LMH on sale for a third entry in the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year for a client team. Contenders had 48 hours to submit an application to the team. Despite certain interests, this project will ultimately wait until 2023, for potentially the entire season in WEC : « As you may know, we recently offered a Glickenhaus 007 LMH with entry to Le Mans 2022 as a third car, announces Glickenhaus. We received serious interest from several qualified teams, but the 48 hour deadline and difficulty of building another 007 LMH in time for testing and racing by June of this year simply wasn't possible. So, to give everyone a little more time, we are now offering 007LMH and 007S for 2023. The conditions of our LMH offer require the buyer to commit to the entire 2023 WEC season. » The teams will also be able to benefit from technical support. A project far from being new in Jim Glickenhaus's mind since he had already proposed it in 2021.
