The Joint Union of 24 Hours of Le Mans has initiated work to repair the wearing course on a section of the Sarthoise classic circuit, going from the Antares roundabout to the first Hunaudières chicane. This task took place until October 29 and out of circulation. The objective is " to allow the production of the wearing course in the best conditions in order to obtain a result in accordance with the requirements of motor racing and specific use for the cars of the 24 Hours of Le Mans ". The 1 tonnes of asphalt used on this section are therefore common with those of the Bugatti circuit. Previous work on the roadway dated from 700.
