The Dutchman Leonard Hoogenboom will be the third driver of the Ligier JS P217 n°24 of the Panis-Barthez Compétition in European Le Mans Series in 2019.
Titled in the Michelin Le Mans Cup in 2018, Hoogenboom will support Timothé Buret and Konstantin Tereschenko throughout the continental season.
“Coming from LM P3, I am taking a big step forward in terms of performance, aero, grip and speed, indicates the 19-year-old pilot. I was able to experience the car during a test drive, and I was really impressed.
My priority is to learn but also to ensure good results. I know the slopes and that's a plus. Now, the most important thing is to be with my teammates, Timothé and Konstantin, and to work together to go in the same direction. »
The official tests of theELMS will begin this Monday on the Var track of Paul Ricard.
