Organized alongside the GT World Challenge Europe, the opening round of which takes place in Monza this weekend, the first event of the Esports GT Pro Series will see 24 drivers compete on the Assetto Corsa Competizione simulation, in a dedicated structure in the Lombard paddock.
Important detail, the results acquired in this virtual competition will have an impact on the general ranking of the teams in GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. The Pro and Silver drivers lined up for these online rounds who finish in the first three in their class will indeed pocket points (3, 2 and 1 unit) for their team in the real world.
The entry list for the 60′ race which will be contested on Saturday from 18:55 p.m., can be consulted below, with big names like Maro Engel (HRT – Mercedes), Matt Campbell (GPX Racing – Porsche), Kelvin van der Linde (WRT – Audi), Nicklas Nielsen (Iron Lynx – Ferrari) or Mirko Bortolotti (FFF Racing – Lamborghini).
