Beitske Visser further increased his lead at the top of the championship in the W Series Esports League. The Dutchwoman won two of the three races at the Interlagos round, taking second place in Race 2 where she started from the back of the field with the grid reversed.
“It was an almost perfect round for me, commented the Dutchwoman. I had pole in the first race and I had a good fight with Marta (Garcia) in the first laps and then managed to take the advantage. I approached Race 2 with the reverse grid in the same way as at Brands Hatch last week, getting a cautious start and avoiding any issues so as not to have any damage. I was able to move up to second place, but Ira (Sidorkova) was too far away. »
In total, Beitske Visser won 60 points out of the 63 available with the fastest race lap in each event and now has a 52-point lead over Irina Sidorkova who won Race 2 and took the podium in the following race.
The W Series Esports League will take place on the virtual Spa-Francorchamps track on Thursday July 9.
