Using a real racing wheel for simracing is now possible! Bentley and Fanatec have co-developed a steering wheel from a lightweight carbon fiber and magnesium alloy. This steering wheel was designed for the Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine.
“Our collaboration with Fanatec has made it possible to repurpose the Continental GT3 Pikes Peak steering wheel for virtual use. There can be no more realistic way for video game enthusiasts to experience the thrill of driving one of our fastest vehicles ever, right from home.”, says Paul Williams, director of the Automobile Racing department at Bentley Motors.
The steering wheel is currently not yet for sale and its price is not known.
