Unveiled in 2022 and used since the start of the 2023 Super Formula season, the Dallara SF23 is now available in the game Gran Turismo 7. Free update 1.32, unveiled this Wednesday and available from Thursday April 27, now includes the new car of the Japanese championship. Two versions are available for players: the motorized SF23 Toyota, and the Honda-powered SF23.
This addition follows to the new partnership announced between Japan Race Promotion – promoter of Super Formula – and Polyphony Digital, the developer of GT7. A collaboration which also began in 2019 since the old generation of single-seaters, the Dallara SF19, was already present in the game.
Compared to its predecessor, the SF23 sports new front and rear wings, redesigned sidepods, a new engine hood and a new floor. If downforce is reduced by 8%, aerodynamic developments reduce the dirty air behind a car by up to 50%.
In addition to the SF23, players will have the pleasure of seeing two other models arrive via update 1.32: the Jaguar XJ220 from 1992, and the Mercedes-AMG GT3 from 2020.
