The 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtuelles set off with one less crew this Saturday, January 15. The women's team (Wohlwend, Agren, Jones, Ozeretskovskaya) lined up under the name of the W Series was in fact unable to take the start due to a connection problem. “We had server issues on the way to the starting gate and we never started. Unfortunately we cannot join you, so this is the end of our journey”, the team said on the W Series Twitter account. After more than 3h30 of racing, Max Verstappen (Team Redline) prances at the head of the race.
Gutted. 😢
We suffered server issues on the way to the starting grid and never made the start. Unfortunately, we can't join so that's the end of our #LeMansVirtual journey.
Thanks to everyone for your support and thanks to our drivers for their hard work and prep. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/MpuEyKVdqY
