It's the turn of the W Series to join Esport. The single-seater championship reserved for women will continue to welcome only female drivers. The organizers have not yet given dates for the virtual events but have already confirmed that they will take place on the iRacing platform.
18 contestants were invited to participate in the W Series Esports League, including reigning champion Jamie Chadwick, Beitske Visser and Alice Powell. Other female drivers may be invited.
The calendar will be based on 10 circuits with Monza (Italy), Austin (Texas), Brands Hatch GP Circuit (Great Britain), Interlagos (Brazil), Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), Watkins Glen (New York), Suzuka ( Japan), Bathurst (Australia), Nordschleife Nürburgring (Germany) and Silverstone (Great Britain).
