LMVS – Realteam Hydrogen Redline and Porsche first winners of the season

This Saturday the first round of the season was held Le Mans Virtual Series. At the end of the 4 hours of racing on the Monza circuit, it was the Realteam Hydrogen Redline which won the general classification.

Driven by the tandem Atze Kerkhof-Dani Juncadella-Michal Smidl-Shane van Gisbergen, the Oreca 07 No. 70 was able to avoid all the pitfalls to achieve the first victory of the LMVS season.  Well helped by the accident of leader Gordon Mutch (R8G ESPORTS No. 8), the Realteam Hydrogen Redline mount demonstrated great racing pace, as evidenced by its battle with Alpha Ind's Oreca 07 No. 444. ByKolles-Burst shortly before halfway, to win.

At the finish, the No. 70 crossed the line in front of the No. 22 of the GPX Rebellion and the No. 4 of the 3 Floyd ByKolles-Burst. Accidented, the No. 8 finally finished 12th, more than a lap behind the leader.

En GTE, la victoire est revenue à la Porsche 911 RSR N°91 qui s’impose devant la BMW M8 GTE N°71 du Team Redline et une autre Porsche, la N°88 du Proton Competition.
