Max Verstappen abandons the Virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans

Dramatic twist on the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual. Back in the simulator after an impressive first stint placing the No. 2 Oreca LM P123 of Team Redline in the lead of the race, Max Verstappen made a mistake at the exit of the Ford chicane as night fell on the virtual replica of the Circuit de la Sarthe. The World Champion of Formula 1 and his teammates (Felix Rosenqvist, Maximilian Benecke, Atze Kerkhof) were forced to retire in a race that they had dominated from the start. The number 70 of Felipe Drugovich, Oliver Rowland, Jeffrey Rietveld and Michal Schmidl inherits the lead of the race with more than 16 hours to go before the checkered flag.
