Absent from the virtual competitions organized by the Formula 1 due to his lack of interest towards the F1 2019 game, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) only uses iRacing PC simulation. The Dutchman accepted the invitation from Australian Supercars to take part in the second round of the BP All Stars Eseries Championship.

The youngest winner of a Grand Prix will drive a Holden Commodore in Red Bull colors on the tracks of Silverstone (Great Britain) and Montmelo near Barcelona (Spain). “I can't wait to take part in the race, explained Max Verstappen. This will be a challenge because it's not a car I've driven much in the sim, but they're pretty cool to look at in real life. We always race with the Supercars in Melbourne (Australia), so it will be interesting to see how I will compete with all the drivers used to this discipline.
“I have tried the Supercar several times on iRacing and it is a very tricky car to handle. I can't wait to run alongside my partner Shane (van Gisbergen), or Pastor, as I call him – he's a top crasher on the simulation! (laughs) We race a lot online together, so it should be fun to race against the other Supercars drivers. »
