The DTM Classic expands in 2022
Building on its success in 2021, the historic variation of the German Touring Championship (DTM) will be strengthened for 2022. Two new categories will visit the European circuits: the DTM Classic Cup, i.e. DTM cars built between 1984 and 1996 and between 2000 and 2007, as well as the DTM Classic DRM Cup for cars between 1972 and 1981 .
“Whether it's DRM, the early days with the production car championship or the real DTM up to the 2000s, the DNA of DTM plays a major role, said DTM boss Gerhard Berger. With the exception of the Formula 1, few other racing series can boast such a history. This DTM pillar is extremely popular among fans and is also very important to me personally. »

DTM Classic Cup
May 20-22 Lausitzring 1 (Germany) / July 1-3 – Norisring (Germany) / September 9-11 – Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) / October 7-9 – Hockenheim (Germany)
DTM Classic DRM Cup
June 17-19 – Imola (Italy) / August 26-28 – Nürburgring (Germany) / September 23-25 – Red Bull Ring (Austria)
