The program for the NASCAR Finals in Phoenix

After 35 rounds and nearly 10 months of competition, the 2021 season of NASCAR will end this Sunday at the Phoenix Speedway.

Only 4 drivers can still claim the title at the end of the terrible elimination phases. Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin will attempt to win their first Cup Series title, while Chase Elliott and Martin Truex Jr. will aim for a second crown. Elliott could on this occasion become the first driver to retain his title since 2010, the year of the fifth title of his illustrious predecessor at Hendrick Motorsports, seven-time Cup champion Jimmy Johnson.

If it is enough for these drivers to be the best classified of the 4 at the finish to win the title, since 2014 and the introduction of the Playoffs, the Cup Series Champion has always won the final.

Drivers will have to complete 312 laps of the Phoenix Raceway. This 1,022-mile (1,645 km) tri-oval is a historic NASCAR track built in 1964 and redeveloped several times, culminating in its current configuration in 2018.
