Martin Truex Jr. on pole for Bristol night race

He will share the first row with teammate Denny Hamlin. Joey Logano places the first Ford in third position ahead of the terrible duo of Hendrick Motorsports Chase Elliott / Kyle Larson.

500 laps are on the program Saturday evening on this perfect half-mile oval (precisely 0,553 miles or 858m) with turns inclined at 22°. A real arena where the stands go all the way around the circuit, it is one of the spectators' favorite tracks for its races combining the fury of on-track struggles and the deafening noise of the V8s resonating in this Coliseum of motor racing.

First segment: 125 laps
Second segment: 125 laps
Final: 250 laps

This will be the second race of the season at Bristol Motor Speedway following the round won in March by Joey Logano. This “Dirt Race” edition had the particularity of being contested on an entirely dirt track. A return to the past for NASCAR who built his legend on these tracks.
