Mikhail Aleshin set the fastest time in the second qualifying session at Oschersleben in Formula 2. The Russian will therefore start on pole for the second race of the weekend, Sunday at 13:30 p.m. He will start ahead of Julien Jousse, who failed to secure a second pole position this season, and Andy Soucek, who will already start at the head of the first race.
