Mikhail Aleshin, who started from pole, won the second race at Oschersleben, Formula 2. The Russian driver was ahead of Andy Soucek, who performed excellently, and Julien Jousse. The Frenchman, who started in a good manner, was trapped in the first chicane, Andy Soucek having overtaken him by taking the wheels of Aleshin.

Julien Jousse takes third place in the championship, with 43 points. He is only two points behind Robert Wickens. Andy Soucek, with 79 points, is almost champion, since he is 34 points ahead of Robert Wickens, four races from the end of the season. If he gets on the podium once at Imola, the Spaniard will have won his test at the wheel of a Williams F1.
