Enzo Trulli hired by Carlin
Another son of! Enzo Trulli will participate in the 2022 FIA season Formula 3 with Carlin. The 16-year-old Italian, the offspring of the former pilot of Formula 1 Jarno Trulli (1 Grand Prix victory with Renault in Monaco in 2004) will discover the Grand Prix environment with the British team.
The 2021 Formula 4 UAE champion had competed in a few rounds of the Euroformula Open with Carlin (7th with three podiums). “It's going to be a learning year for me, as I only have limited experience in car used in the championship », recognizes the Transalpine.

His boss, Trevor Carlin, explains this promotion. “Enzo made a remarkable debut in single-seaters. He impressed us a lot with his performance in the Euroformula Open despite extremely limited experience. His performance in the rain at Monza, his first ever single-seater race in the wet, was particularly indicative of his mindset and approach. This season will be a massive learning curve for him. FIA F3 is an extremely competitive series in only its second season of racing. Enzo needs to focus on learning and getting something out of every weekend. We are excited to work with him and look forward to helping him improve with each race. »
