Kevin Mirocha, seen this season in the Formula 3 Euro Series, was the fastest driver on Friday in Valencia, during the second day of winter testing for Formula 2. Open to all (against 9500 euros excluding tax per day), these tests allowed several young drivers to come and try the single-seaters developed by Williams and powered by Audi. On Thursday, Johan Jokinen was the fastest and on Friday, it was Kevin Mirocha who stood out. He beat Jolyon Palmer, who played the entire 2009 season and who is none other than the son of Jonathan Palmer, promoter of the discipline. Frenchman Benjamin Lariche set the sixth fastest time, ahead of Belgian Benjamin Bailly, winner in the Formul?Academy Euro Series.
