Julien Jousse set the best time in the qualifying session which determines the starting grid for the second race at Donington. This is the first pole position for the Frenchman in Formula 2. Fourth in the championship, Julien Jousse dominated Sebastian Hohenthal, Mirko Bortolotti and Kazim Vasiliauskas in this session. The Frenchman will therefore start the second race on Sunday (at 16:45 p.m. French time) while he will start from fourth position in the first round (11:50 a.m.).
