Best time of the second qualifying session on the Portimão track in Portugal, the Thai Alexander albon (Signature – Volkswagen) was excluded from the results, his tank not containing the regulatory minimum fuel (1 kg) after the session. Albon will start from the back of the grid in races 2 and 3. Felix Rosenqvist (Prema Powerteam – Mercedes), already author of pole for the last round of the weekend, will start from pole in C2.
