Felix Rosenqvist (Prema Powerteam) won the first race of the season of the F3 European Championship at Silverstone (Great Britain) on a slightly wet track but dry enough for slick tires. The pole sitter managed to maintain the advantage over Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) and Jake Dennis (Prema Powerteam) despite several interruptions caused by clashes in the peloton. Alex Albon (Signature) and Markus Pommer (Motopark) complete the top five.
On the French side, Dorian Boccolacci (Signature) finished 21st while Brandon Maïsano (Prema Powerteam) retired following contact. The Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Van Amersfoort Racing) managed to move up to 12th place after falling to the bottom of the standings.
