The first race of F3 on the Red Bull Spielberg Ring in Austria was won by the Swede Tom Blomqvist ahead of his teammate from Jagonya Ayam with Carlin, the Italian Antonio Giovinazzi and the Dutch Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing). But the other information undoubtedly remains the clash between the pole sitter Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam) and his championship rival Verstappen at the first corner after the start. The Frenchman was able to start again in last position before finally finishing 13th at the finish. Verstappen is 101 points behind Ocon in the championship.
