Raffaele Marciello (Prema Powerteam) overshadows the competition by winning another victory after starting from the front row. The pilot of the Ferrari Driver Academy is ahead of Pascal Wehrlein (Mücke Motorsport) and Jazeman Jaafar. The Carlin driver took advantage of an error by his teammate Carlos Sainz Jr who hit the wall on the pit straight in the final laps, forcing the safety car to enter the track. Sven Müller (Prema Powerteam) and Tom Blomqvist (ma-con Motorsport) complete the top five. Daniel Juncadella (Prema) finished eighth after receiving a drive-through like several other drivers for not respecting the yellow flags.
