The Italian Antonio Fuoco (Prema Powerteam) took advantage of the 30-second penalty imposed on leader Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin), for non-compliance with the rules behind the safety car, to secure the second victory of his season. Tom Blomqvist (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) and Lucas Auer (Mücke Motorsport) complete the podium.
The difficult weekend of Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam) continues with a retirement for the Frenchman, following contact with the Swede Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport).
