For the first time in his career, young Pascal Wehrlein (17) climbed to the top of the podium during the third race of the weekend on the Nürburgring circuit. The German from the Mücke Motorsport team wins with an 8”553 lead over Williams Buller (Carlin) and 17”341 on Jazeman Jaafar (Carlin). The first two in the championship, Daniel Juncadella and Raffaele Marciello, retired.
