Edoardo Mortara, winner of the last Grand Prix F3 from Macau, won the first race of the Formula 3 Euro Series season, at Le Castellet. Starting from fourth position, he was able to grab places to quickly place himself at the front, before winning. The Signature team driver ahead of his teammate Marco Wittmann and ART Grand Prix driver Alexander Sims.
