Carlos Sainz Jr achieved the best time in Thursday's free practice on the Spa circuit for the European round F3 Championship which includes the British F3 peloton. The Spaniard from the Carlin team set a time of 2'15"401, two tenths ahead of his teammate Jack Harvey who missed a good part of the session following injector problems. Alex Lynn and Felix Serralles, two residents of the Fortec team, follow at three tenths while Jazeman Jaafar (Carlin) completes the top five.
