French Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam), championship leader F3 European before this weekend's round in Hungary, set the best time in the first free practice session at the Hungaroring. He is ahead of Tom Blomqvist (Carlin) in 1’36″881 and Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort) at the end of a session interrupted by contact between Auer and Gelael at the end of the session.
The second part of the tests has just started.
