It was the rain which dominated races 2 and 3 at Monza for this second round with weather very suitable for the ?British F3?.
In the morning, the Puerto Rican Felix Serralles won at the wheel of his Dallara-Mercedes of Fortec Motorsport ahead of Jack Harvey (Carlin), Pietro Fantin (Carlin) and Nick McBride (Dallara-Nissan T-Sport).
Carlos Sainz Jr, 8th in the morning, took a second victory with his Dallara-VW from the Carlin team, after a main race launched by the safety car. Serrales and Alex Lynn (Fortec) completed the podium. Sainz leaves Lombardy at the head of the championship ahead of Serralles, Derani (Fortec) and Harvey.
