Antonio Giovinazzi (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin) will be in pole position for the last two races of the F3 European on the Austrian route of the Red Bull Ring. The Italian set the best time in the second qualifying session, as well as the second best time, which determines the grid for the third race. Each time he is ahead of his teammate the Swede Tom Blomqvist, who won in the first race contested today.
Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam) is having a less brilliant Austrian weekend than usual. 13th in C1, after a collision with Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing), the Frenchman will start 6th in the second round and 4th in C3, nevertheless ahead of the Dutchman each time.
