Brandon Maïsano, the young Riviera member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, currently leading the Italian championship F3 and 2nd in the Italian F3 European Series, is under observation at the Cannes hospital for an inflamed appendicitis and a high fever. The doctors must decide within one or two days on a possible operation, which is not essential at the moment.
This setback is not welcome, just over a week before the last joint round of the two championships at the Autodromo de Monza. However, the Prema Powerteam driver is more than determined to compete in this last round, even if a possible operation is necessary, which in this case would take place on Thursday. There would be a full week left for the convalescent before the first tests on Thursday.
