The leader of the European championship F3 Lance stroll was the fastest of the two free practice sessions at the Nürburgring event in Germany. The Prema Powerteam driver set a benchmark in 1'21"311 during the second morning session and got the better of Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing), the fastest in EL1 in 1'21"398.
Second fastest in EL2, Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) set the third cumulative time in 1’21”413. Frenchman Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) got off to a good start to his weekend by twice climbing into fourth position, respectively four and two tenths behind the reference times.
