The contract between the FIA and the promoter and organizer of the European Championship F3, Formel 3 Vermarktungs GmbH (subsidiary of ITR which organizes the DTM) has been renewed. The championship has allowed several drivers to emerge at the highest level, such as the French Esteban Ocon, 2014 champion, or the Dutchman Max Verstappen, today a pilot Toro Rosso en F1.
