The competitors of the European Championship F3 began two days of testing on the German Hockenheim track and the first session held this Wednesday morning saw the Italian Alessio Lorandi (Carlin – Volkswagen) set the best time with a time of 1'32″226. The Dane Mikkel Jensen (Mücke Motorsport – Mercedes) is placed in the wake of Lorandi at 89 thousandths and precedes the Briton Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing – Mercedes), third at 107 thousandths. Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing – Mercedes) took 13th place in the session.
