The afternoon session this Thursday at the tests of the F3 European race on the German Hockenheim track was dominated by the Italian Alessio Lorandi (Carlin – Volkswagen). With a best lap completed in 1'32″381, the winner of the 2016 Grand Prix de Pau did not dislodge the German David Beckmann (Mücke Motorsport – Mercedes) of the day's reference (1'31″920), established during the morning session.
Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing – Mercedes) moved up the hierarchy to fifth position with a personal best time of 1'32″585.
