Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) set the best time in the first free practice session of the European F3 Championship contested at Brands Hatch. With a time of 41, the Swede was 570 thousandths ahead of Alex Lynn (Prema Powerteam). Raffaele Marciello (Prema Powerteam) was unsurprisingly at the front, a tenth behind, just ahead of Jordan King (Carlin) and Tom Blomqvist (Eurointernational).
Lucas Auer (Prema Powerteam) improved the reference time during the second session with a time of 41. Raffaele Marciello closed to less than half a tenth while Felix Rosenqvist fell just a few thousandths behind the Championship leader. Behind Mans Grenhagen (Van Amerfoort Racing), Felix Serralles (Fortec Motorsports), Jordan King and Alex Lynn are grouped in just three thousandths.
