Edoardo Mortara (Signature), who started from pole, won the Grand Prix qualifying race F3 from Macau. The Italian driver beat Laurens Vanthoor (Signature), Daniel Abt (Signature) and Valtteri Bottas (Prema Powerteam). Jean-Eric Vergne (Carlin) finished in seventh place.
The classification of this race makes it possible to establish the starting grid for Sunday's race. Edoardo Mortara seems well on his way to a second consecutive success.
