Niko Kari will have to start from the pits during Race 1 of the Pau Grand Prix after deliberately colliding with Pedro Piquet to take revenge for a maneuver during Race 3 at the Hungaroring which caused him to lose three places. The Motopark rider finished in eighth place.
Nikita mazepin also received a five-place grid penalty for Race 3 in Hungary and two suspension points on his first for physically assaulting Nick Cassidy. The HitechGP resident ranked 13th ahead of Anthoine Hubert.
